Dr. Nasifu Kerebba, Born in 1987, Butaleja and then settled in Uganda’s capital Kampala, Nasifu Kerebba has recently completed his Doctorate in Organic Chemistry/ Natural Products (Botanical Pesticides) at University of Fort Hare, South Africa which was done in collaboration with Makerere University, Uganda. 2016-2018. The thesis title: Chemical and Biological Evaluation of Tithonia diversifolia and Tephrosia vogelii from Uganda as Sources of Antioxidant and Pesticide supervised by Professors from Makerere University and South African Universities (University of Fort Hare, and Walter Sisulu University). I have won many merit-based monetary and honorable awards. I look forward for more as I advance in my academic career. I have publications in high impact factor Journals so far with more coming in less than 7 months. I have presented research papers several times at international forums. Thus I have attended academic conferences and workshops, do have a vast experience in University teaching and research. The area of specialization is Organic Chemistry/ Natural Products (Botanical Pesticides) especially in the field of Agricultural research and pesticides, environmental/ Analytical chemistry and the specific research Interest is Botanical pesticide/ Natural products and Environment Pollution especially on persistent organic pollutants, nanoparticles and green chemistry technologies.
